Cost for Bin Washing:

Domestic sized wheelie bin cleaned on a 4 weekly basis:

Option 1

£3.50 per bin

Only available for customers who pay by monthly Standing Order or BACS online payment which is made on the first day of each calendar month. (Please note our minimum order is for 6 Cleans.)

Any additional bins you require to be cleaned simply multiply £3.50 by number of bins.


Option 2

£21.00 (For 6 cleans by half yearly payment - Cost per clean £3.50)

This is available to customers who wish to either pay by Cash or Cheque. Payment can be made in advance or can be made on your first bin-cleaning day. Standing Order and BACS Online payments are also accepted on this price plan.

Any additional bins you require to be cleaned simply multiply £21.00 by number of bins.


Option 3

£42.00 (For 12 cleans + 1 free clean by yearly payment - Cost per clean £3.23)

This is available to customers who wish to either pay by Cash or Cheque. Payment can be made in advance or can be made on your first bin-cleaning day. Standing Order and BACS Online payments are also accepted on this price plan.

Any additional bins you require to be cleaned simply multiply £42.00 by number of bins.


One off domestic bin cleans available at £7.00 (Payable on the day by Cash)

How do I pay?
Standing Order: Upon your booking we shall send you a 'welcome letter' with your unique Green Cleen sticker (to put on your bin for identification) and customer ref number and an enclosed Standing Order form for completion to return to us in the provided pre-paid stamped addressed envelope and we shall forward this to your Bank/Building Society to set up and activate payment.

All Standing Order payments shall be collected on the first day of each calendar month.

BACS (Online payment): Upon your booking we shall send you a 'welcome letter' with your unique Green Cleen sticker (to put on your bin for identification) and customer ref number and our Bank details to arrange your online payment on the first day of each calendar month (Our Bank automatically notifies us of your first payment).

Cheque (pre-pay): Upon your booking we shall send you a 'welcome letter' with your unique customer Green Cleen sticker (to put on your bin for identification) and ref number and a provided pre-paid stamped addressed envelope for you to return your cheque payment.

Cheque or Cash (pay on the day): Upon your booking we shall issue you a unique Green Cleen sticker (to put on your bin for identification) and customer ref number and pre-arrange a day for our Green Cleen operative to clean your wheelie bin/s and to collect payment in advance of your future bin cleans.

Benefits of pre-pay:
You do not have to be waiting at home for our arrival to pay us on bin cleaning day.

When my bin is first cleaned?
Upon your Online/Telephone booking and once in receipt of your method of payment your wheelie bin/s will be allocated to one of our 4 weekly rounds and your first bin clean shall take place on a refuse collection day within the following 4-week cycle.

You will be able to identify our first clean by the receipt posted through your letterbox that day.

Bin Cleaning Frequency:
Cleaning shall take place on the day of your refuse collection (please ensure your bin is left empty), however in very rare instances, due to late/delayed collection it may be necessary that cleaning takes place the day after your refuse has been collected.

Receipt for bin cleaning:
After each bin clean and thereafter our Green Cleen operative will issue you a receipt posted through your letterbox indicating we have cleaned your wheelie bin/s.

Why your bin needs to be cleaned?
Your bin is a breeding ground for contagious bacteria and germs, which can be harmful to you. The bacterium from your rubbish also leaves unpleasant smells, attracting unwanted pests and vermin.

Our Service:
Our mobile self-contained bin washing units shall wash, disinfect and deodorise your wheelie bin maintaining the highest of hygiene standards and cleanliness leaving your bin clean and dry with a pleasant fragrance and clear of bacteria and germs.

Cleaning Process:
The bin is lifted into the wash position on our vehicle by a hydraulic ram. Then high pressure jets blast all the dirt, bacteria and germs breeding inside your bin and any dirt or remaining marks on the outside of your bin are removed using a high pressure hand lance. The bin is then lowered back to the ground and dried by hand.

The Environment:
The water from the cleaning process is collected, filtered and recycled by the on board machinery minimising water usage. At the end of the day the water is discharged at an approved water authority location.

Bin Identification and Relocation:
Your wheelie bin/s will be uniquely identified with our 'Green Cleen' sticker with your house number/ name on the day of its first clean, and after each clean your wheelie bin will be relocated on your driveway.

How will I know my bin has been cleaned?
Apart from your bin looking clean and smelling fresh, our Green Cleen operative will place a receipt through your letterbox on the day of each clean so there is no need for you to be present at home, unless you have chosen to pay on your first wheelie bin cleaning day.

How do I know how many times my bin has been cleaned?
We keep detailed computerised records of the amount of bin cleans that have taken place.

Do I need to be at home on bin cleaning day?
NO, unless you have chosen to pay our operative on you're first wheelie bin cleaning day. Please make sure your wheelie bin is left empty until we have cleaned your bin/s
